Members in the Academy use all kinds of DAWs. The course focuses on Ableton Live and Logic Pro. We think these are the most intuitive and user friendly DAW for beginners. However, the principles we will learn will apply for all DAWs.
What gear do I need to have to start learning?
So, for this course, you'll just need a laptop, a microphone, and a pair of headphones. An audio interface and a MIDI controller are a plus but not a must. Inside the course, we'll guide you on a few options that you could buy without breaking the bank.
We know everyone has a picture of their dream studio in mind and want to have the perfect setup. We love gear too!!
